Arbito is an artist/illustrator/designer living in Seattle. Born and raised in Washington State, Arbito’s work has been exhibited globally from Spain to England, Australia to New york. Currently he’s experimenting with resin sculpture but is also recognized for his west coast proto-hippie style acrylic paintings and drawings.

Arbito’s art tells the visual tale of a ragtag band of hippie vagabonds on a pop-psychedelic trip. With his resin figures, form and style meet vibrant, colorful, unique characters. His work has been shown in solo and group shows around the world, as well as at the Phillips de Pury Auction and Art Basel. He shares a studio in the Pacific Northwest with The Hobo, Seeker, Sammy, Patty Power and his wife, Snaggs. — Jeremy Brautman ( http://www.jeremyriad.com )

Jesse Hibert aka Arbito is a name quickly spreading widely throughout the artist community. Not only is he recognized by his 60’s fueled nostalgic 2D artwork, but also for his awesome work in the designer resin toy field… — John “Spanky” Stokes ( http://www.spankystokes.com )

If I were to walk into the mind of Arbito, what might I find? I think it would be full of rainbows, breasts, cotton candy (hopefully), bright colors, good design, perhaps some grass of the smoking kind and some psychedelic tunes drifting along in the background. I would surely laugh, definitely feel stimulated and most likely have some flashbacks of the 60’s. Wait, I wasn’t around in the 60’s… but every time I see Arbito’s work I sure wish I had been. — Kristen Rask ( http://www.schmancytoys.com )
